Human Resources Society Nepal (HRSN) is proud to announce the 5th National HR Conference on August 28, 2016, at Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu.

National HR Conference is an annual event organized by HR Society Nepal. The Society is a professional not-for-profit registered organization of Human Resource Professionals in Nepal with the primary objective of empowering HR. This year the conference shall carry the theme of Employee Care for Higher Productivity.

Program design

Part 1: A research paper on ‘Employee Care and Productivity in Nepalese organizations’ shall be presented.

Part 2: Key Note speech by Mr. Prithvi Shergill, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of HCL Technologies Limited on International best practices in employee care and the resulting productivity gains.

Part 3: Session on Employee Care in Nepalese perspective and way forward by Dr. Tshering Lama, Country Director Childreach Nepal

Part 4: Panel discussion

A panel discussion between representatives from Business (entrepreneur), HR professionals, and representative of employees on

·         the current realities in employee care & productivity and

·         the way forward to improve both the employee care and productivity.

Part 5: Group discussion amongst the participants on various topics related to Employee Care and Productivity like:

·         Best practices in occupational Health and Safety

·         Benefits of insurance coverage and income protection

·         Flexible work hours and work life balance

·         Workforce diversity and productivity gains

 Around 150 HR Heads, HR Managers and HR Officers from organizations representing Bank and Financial institutes, Multinationals, INGOs, NGOs, Manufacturing, IT, Insurance, Constructions, and Consulting shall be part of the event.

Participant Fees

Rupees: 5,500 net of taxes for HRSN members.

Rupees: 6,500 net of taxes for other participants.
