Knowledge Sharing and Working Session on “Labour Act 2074 and Drafted labour Rules 2074” organized by HR Society Nepal was successfully completed on January 13, 2018 at Biratnagar. Total around 40 HR and Admin practitioners  had participated. The session was facilitated by an experienced Resource Person Mr. AK Jha, HR Manager, Surya Nepal & Mr. Tanka Prasad Bhattarai, Treasure, HR Society Nepal.

The local stake holders  like, Mr.   Mani Nath Goph, Factory Inspector, Labour office, Koshi, Mechi & Janakpur Zone, Mr. Bhim Prasad Ghimire, Sr. Vice President, Udhyog Sangathan –Morang, Dr. Biju Kumar Thapaliya,  Former Dean, Faculty of Management, Purwanchal University and Mr. Mohan Bahadur Basnet, Professor-Management, Management College, Biratnagar were also in the session.

The session was more practical & very fruitful, says participants. Participants were highly exited for the first time happening such session at Biratnagar on behalf of HR Society Nepal and they are expecting more session on upcoming future.   Addressing the opening session, Mr. Goph and Ghimire both found committed and ready to contribute any type of assistance for such session in upcoming  future. Speaking on opening session Dr. Thapaliya & Mr. Basnet (on behalf from academician) are fully agreed about the gap of HR practice in Biratnagar is lacking and still industry are running as an old personnel management practice in Biratnager regions. Academician committed and ready for hands -together with HR Society Nepal for any type of assistance and to enhance HR practice at eastern region.
